Touch of Eden Academy is a school in the township of Masiphumele, near Cape Town. It educates Zimbabwean and Malawian children between the age of two to eleven. All of them are the children of undocumented refugees and therefore not permitted to enter South African governmental schools.
The Academy strives for a brighter future for these children, by focusing on early childhood education and helping to ensure the children can one day earn a decent living – the only way out of poverty
